apparently you are supposed to put these slices on a chair. they look so pretty and interesting, I wonder if you could hang them on the wall. they have more colors on branch.

I read about a new blog called essimar. the girl who writes it makes really beautiful things. she took photos of these colored triangles sprinkled in the snow, and I can't stop looking at them.

I read about the beautiful paintings of aili schmeltz on design milk today. I love the combination of collage and painting.

my collection of dishes

I love dishes SO much. my mom just bought me the butterfly dishes from anthropologie for christmas, and I've been smugly admiring my collection.

my collection is made up of a lot of different things: lusterware, fireking, pyrex, bauer, beehouse, antiques, ikea, random ebay and junk store finds, le creuset, emile henry, anthropologie. I stick to a color palette of red, pink, orange, brown, and purple.
