new window blinds

we got new window blinds in the big window in the living room. I picked these because they are opaque at night and because they move from bottom to top as well as from top to bottom. it's nice to be able to move the shades up partially during the day for privacy but still get natural light and be able to see the trees. I'm really happy with them, mostly for the utility but they also tie in pretty well with other parts of the house. more pictures of the house here.
