I love how the carpet in the living room looks like green grass. I want that rug!







the blue glass tile in the bathroom is lovely, especially next to that blue coral wallpaper. I love those white baskets in the bathroom too...I'm pretty sure those are baskets that are supposed to go on the front of your bike! It's a genius way to hide your hairdryer, etc. in a small bathroom.

I've seen this picture before, and it was posted today again on apartment therapy. it would be really easy to make shelves like this by taking some wooden boxes and painting them. I love the yellow...maybe I should do this for our house.

I always read michelle armas' blog and I really like her artwork. there was a tour of her house on design*sponge today, and I love her bedroom! I love the mismatched sheets, wooden bed, and the rug. our bedroom now is so boring, but I'm working on making it prettier.

more house progress

we are making more progress on the house...it really is taking forever! we just got some more lights installed in the kitchen and dining area, which makes it feel a lot nicer. I am really happy with how my vintage danish pendant lamp turned out. I think I'm going to hang a lot of framed photos and art on that wall behind the dining table. check out my flickr gallery for more pictures of the renovations.

new table lamps

I just got these two mid-century lamps off of craigslist that I'm going to use in our bedroom. They didn't come with shades, so I'm going to have to find some to go with them. I like how that shorter shade looks with the lamps, and the grey is nice too. I think these are going to go perfectly with all the things I have in the bedroom. I'm having so much fun putting the house together!

I really would love to get a mid-century door like these from crestview doors, but I think they are a little too expensive for us. the top door is EXACTLY the look we want.

prettiest wedding photos ever

these are the most beautiful wedding photos I have ever seen. I love the bride's entire outfit sooo much...her jewelry, her shoes, her dress, her hair, pretty much everything. I especially love the silver flower bracelet, and I really want one for myself. I didn't want to use any of the photos without permission, so you'll have to click through to see them.
